Emily Cook

Emily has always been active and a lover of fitness and sports. Working out has always been a big part of her life from gymnastics to lacrosse. She is a student at Virginia Commonwealth University studying Public Relations and found a passion for motivating others to get active through Square Code. She hopes that you feel better every time you leave one of her classes than when you got there. In her free time, she loves to spend time with her friends and her cat and make her way to the beach or the pool whenever she can.

Elizabeth Ruiz

Liz has loved fitness for as long as she can remember and became involved with sports at a young age, growing up in a family where everyone was playing something. Liz's passion for fitness eventually grew to the point where she became a CPT and functional specialist. She has a strong desire to get people moving properly and reaping the countless benefits of exercise.

Combining her Masters, Social Work and passion for fitness, Kellie chose to step away from the corporate world and invest herself fully in the creation of square:code FITNESS. The foundation of which was motivated by her desire to provide every individual with a white-glove personalized interaction, combining the energy and community of group fitness with the individual experience of personal training. Following years of participation in and coaching in the boutique fitness industry, Kellie combines operational expertise from her corporate career with knowledge and passion into a fierce package built for success.

Laura knows the transformational power of fitness and loves to help others experience it for themselves. Her fitness journey includes outdoor boot camps, weightlifting, running, and cycling. Now in her 50s, she finds Square Code the perfect combination of low-impact cardio, strength training, and recovery. When she’s not at the studio, Laura is supporting entrepreneurs, earning her master’s in counseling, playing the bass, or kayaking.

Megan Wing

Megan (pronounced Meegan) is bringing her love of learning and doing hard things from the classroom to the gym! Megan is a Kindergarten teacher in Richmond Public Schools and has spent time teaching in schools across the country (and in Mexico) for the past 6 years. She has used exercise and her gym community as her primary outlet for stress, moving her body and maintaining healthy routines since becoming a teacher. When she’s not coaching or teaching, you can find Megan playing soccer, going on walks along the river, planning her upcoming travels, cooking new recipes or reading a good book.

As a celebrator of all things improving quality of life, committing to our physical selves ranks high. When she’s not in the studio training, you can find her gravel biking, backpacking, climbing, or hosting Italian Sundays.
